Our Math Bootcamp is designed to help students strengthen the skills necessary for success on the PERT placement test and to prepare for MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra. This review experience is designed to help students achieve a PERT score that demonstrates readiness for college-level Intermediate Algebra.

This bootcamp is designed to review essential math skills required for placement in Intermediate Algebra. While it covers key concepts, it may not include every topic from previous courses. Individual results may vary.

How the Bootcamp Works

  • Start with a Diagnostic Pre-Test
    • The pre-test helps identify the math topics you need to review, allowing you to create a customized study plan based on your strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Personalized Module Review
    • Based on your results, you will advance through personalized learning modules. These may include guided note packets, instructional videos, practice problems, printable worksheets, and step-by-step solution videos. You can complete all the modules or focus only on the recommended topics.
  • Measure Your Progress with a Post-Test
    • After completing your review, you will take a post-test to evaluate your progress. Students who achieve a sufficiently high score will be deemed ready to take the PERT exam.
